Professional and my bathtub looks amazing!Posted on Peter TengMarch 12, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a great experience with Preferred Reglazing. Their team was extremely prompt and responsive from the very beginning, making the scheduling process quick and easy. They arrived on time, worked efficiently, and did an excellent job reglazing two tubs and a shower stand. The finished work looks fantastic and really refreshed the bathrooms. I truly appreciate their professionalism and attention to detail. I would highly recommend Preferred Reglazing to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality reglazing work.Posted on Adam ClarkeMarch 12, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great service, very quick to respond and get out and get the job done!Posted on L SSMarch 7, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Longer review but Linda was quick to get us scheduled for a bathtub glazing, and overall the experience was good (after worry about reading some of the pretty negative reviews), but I’m giving 4 stars. First, the technician showed up a day early to our surprise. Luckily our workday allowed us to adjust rather than have them come back. We quickly removed everything from the bathroom. They mentioned they would tape the area off, but I assumed the sanding might still travel, and it did, so I’m glad we removed everything, including pictures from the walls. Second, the chemical smell is extremely strong, and no one mentioned that it might be best for pets or kids to be out of the house or kept far away. Despite it being one of the coldest days in December, I ended up opening windows and turning off the heat and putting on a coat after realizing our dog had a contact high from the fumes, even though she was in a different room down the hall with the door closed. The technician said they would vent the area, but the bathroom window was the only one open. If I had known how strong the smell would be, I would have cross-ventilated the house. Third, when the technician finished, I asked how long we should wait before using the shower they said the longer the better, but we had been told to wait 24 hours over the phone. After doing some research, I found that many sources recommend waiting 7–10 days for the glaze to fully cure. I understand why we were told 24 hours, no one wants to be without their tub or shower longer than that, but it does seem like it could impact the longevity of the finish considering the cost of the service. Luckily we have a small second shower, so the family used that for 10 days to make sure we didn’t damage it. We’re now about three months out from the service and everything still looks good. We have also stopped bathing the dog in the tub to help preserve the finish. I clean the tub gently with diluted Dawn dish soap and a microfiber cloth, and it seems to be holding up well. I’m hopeful that letting the glaze cure longer initially will help it last. My recommendation would be for a PDF of instructions to be sent about taking items out of the bathroom, smell, security of pets and kids, and also that the longer you wait, the better the results, with care of the finish included. I would recommend to others based with the above suggestions. Before and after photos included.Posted on Kristov GronkFebruary 16, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My tech Sol came out and he was amazing to work with. My tub was an ancient mustard yellow and the metal railings for an old enclosure was rusting constantly. It was so gross. Now it’s like a brand new tub was installed. Sol was meticulous and it was a pleasure having him on this project. Better call Sol! Highly recommended!!! If I ever need to get a bathtub refinished again, I will be using Preferred Reglazing again… but with the quality of work they do, another refinish won’t be necessary! They do incredible work and would recommend to anyone. Nanny was the technician and he was professional and did great work.

Refinishing, also known as reglazing, is a process that revitalizes worn or outdated surfaces like bathtubs, tiles, sinks, and countertops, without the need for costly replacements. This restoration method typically involves a meticulous preparation phase, where surfaces are cleaned, repaired, and smoothed. Afterward, a specialized coating is applied to the surface. This coating not only enhances the appearance but also provides durability and protection. The result is a like-new surface that can extend the lifespan of fixtures and save both time and money compared to full replacements.
We reglaze a wide range of surfaces, including fiberglass tub units and showers, bath wall tile, cast iron, steel tubs, porcelain, clawfoot bathtubs and much more!
